Our highly qualified staff is dedicated and acts as outstanding role models for your child, while providing them with an environment that encourages healthy growth and development. We strive to provide your child with a positive and rewarding child care experience, while working with you as our partner. We will help to develop a child's positive self-concept, sense of independence, and begin or continue to teach your child to express, understand, and control their own feelings. We also help your child work through problems that may arise with others using specific problem solution tactics to strive for a loving, caring atmosphere. Your child's physical, intellectual, social, and emotional well-being is our main concern at Caring Hands.
All of our activities are planned to correspond with your child's level of understanding, their attention span, and their areas of interest. Our staff also recognizes that all children are different, making them unique and special in their own ways. Equal and diverse opportunities are provided for all children, such as going on field trips, enjoying guest speakers, and participating in various games and activities.
At Caring Hands we refer to discipline as guidance and positive reinforcement. We explain to the child that they have done wrong and redirect them to a better option. Only if it is absolutely necessary, we resort to time-outs, take something away, or remove them from a certain group of children. Rather than punish the child, we encourage your child to "use their words" to express their thoughts, not ignore them. We encourage self-control, self-direction, self-esteem, and cooperation. Your child and his or her development is our main concern.
Make sure to check out the page of the age group that your child qualifies for at our facility. The various pages can be found by putting your mouse on the "Our Facility" tab located on the left.
